Quad Zone Logic

Optex improves its patented "Multifocus Optics" technology to create "Quad Zone Logic" for accurate detection of humans.

Using this logic, the RX-40PI has been designed to give extremely high false alarm protection with tolerance to spot temperature changes from curtains or small to medium size animals. Optex's Optical Quad Technology user taller detection zones divided into upper and lower areas.

It detects IR energy changes in both areas and then couples them for extremely accurate detection's. Offering very high reliability in hostile areas.

We call this "Quad Zone Logic". Quad Zone Logic refers to the layout of the zones into tall vertical barriers:

Close To The Detector:
Zones cover the entire target, four or more zones are required for an alarm; High sensitivity to humans, ignores small pets and many other causes of false alarms.

Middle Range:
Lower zones are still pet immune. Upper zones are slightly more sensitive to humans to ensure good catch. Pet immunity is still achieved.

Furthest Distance:
Lower area has no detection zones. Upper area is slightly more sensitive to ensure good catch. Pet immunity is still achieved.
