INTRUDER ALARM EQUIPMENT DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW. ALL INTRUDER ALARM EQUIPMENT SHALL BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH PD6662 (AND DD243 WHERE APPLICABLE).

CIRCUIT DOOR CONTACTS
The front door to be fitted with a surface mounted magnetic reed contact that shall activate the entry timer upon opening.

CIRCUIT PIR SENSORS
One Optex 35T passive infra red movement detection device to be sited in the room and to be mounted at a height of approximately 2.4 metres. The optimum area of coverage from this unit with an unobstructed view is 15m x 15m in an arc of approximately 90 degrees of cover.

CIRCUIT DUAL TECHNOLOGY SENSORS
One Mirage Dual Technology microwave combined passive infra red movement detection device to be sited in the room and to be mounted at a height of approximately 2.4 metres. The optimum area of coverage from this unit with an unobstructed view is 15m x 15m in an arc of approximately 90 degrees of cover.

CIRCUIT VIBRATION SENSORS
One Gardiner Technology Shockgard seismic vibration detection device to be sited on the window giving a detection radius of approximately 3.0 metres. The detector is capable of monitoring minor and gross attacks by registering either a pulse or instant activation.

CIRCUIT GLASSBREAK SENSORS

One Visonic Glasstech glassbreak acoustic detection device to be sited near the windows of the room giving a detection radius of approximately 10 metres. The detector has a continuous supervision and trouble indication facility and also adapts to changing environmental conditions.

CIRCUIT PERSONAL ATTACK BUTTON
A surface mounted single push personal attack button to be installed at the front door and programmed to give an immediate audible response at both the control panel and the external siren upon activation.

CIRCUIT SMOKE DETECTOR
One A2Z Optical Smoke Detector to be sited on the hallway ceiling and programmed to give a fire indication at the main control panel upon activation.

SOUNDERS
One external self actuating sounder complete with internal strobe light and anti-tamper devices.

This unit will sound from its own stabilised power supply should the signal from the control panel be interrupted i.e. cable damaged or cut. It incorporates dual skin and a rear facing sounder for anti-foam protection. The unit incorporates a 20 minute cut- out device to comply with noise pollution control legislation. This unit to be sited on the front elevation of the building. A dummy unit to be sited on the rear elevation of the building.

CONTROLS
The alarm system is to be controlled by an Active Meridian, 20 iD zone microprocessor based control panel. The panel is mains operated with rechargeable standby batteries and incorporates the following features.

  • Remote keypad operation with 32 character LCD display.
  • Instant setting with keypad TAG unit.
  • 20 fully programmable iD zones with individual tamper.
  • Each zone programmable for 13 different functions. 8 user codes with duress facility.
  • 2 programmable part set levels with unique intelligent set feature.
  • Timed entry/exit.
  • Internal sounder in each remote keypad. Programmable personal attack and fire zones.
  • 250 event memory log.
  • Plug on digital communicator facility.
  • Remote servicing and programming facility via Digi-Modem.
  • The control panel is to be positioned.
  • The remote keypad is to be positioned.
  • One keypad TAG unit to be supplied with system

24 HOUR MONITORING OF THE SYSTEM
A digital communicator shall be installed within the control panel to allow the system to alert a central monitoring station should there be an alarm activation and also provide an Active Security computer link with the control panel.

You will also be safe in the knowledge that your system will be regularly maintained and that you have the full facility of engineers on 24 hour call out, as well as our 24 hour helpline service.

With our "Fully Comprehensive Maintenance Cover" you will also receive free replacement of any defective equipment, on a new for old basis, with the only exception being that of insured losses, wilful damage or customers misuse or negligence, therefore providing the most cost effective maintenance cover available.

The above costs are valid for the period of one month from the date of this quotation, after which the costs may have to be increased.
